The Challenge & Solution
The company has seen its highs and lows over the years and when we were instructed as accountants a number of years ago, we recognised that they were in need of pro active advice to help guide the business to reach its full potential. We met with the husband and wife team and looked at the long term strategy for both the company and them personally.
At this first meeting we did not discuss the accounts or related matters but concentrated on discussing for the first time their exit route and what they needed to change and implement now for them to achieve their long term goal.
Our results
These meetings continued on a quarterly business and have enabled the directors to focus on the bigger picture. They now take time away from the day to day running of the business and look at the business from a strategic point of view
The directors now have a clear strategy for their business and personal goals and have the ability to put a strategy in place to plan their exit route and reap the benefits of all the hard work they have put into the business.
