2015 Recruitment Benchmarking Report

London and Essex based Accountancy firm, Raffingers Stuart, release their annual benchmarking report. The 2015 Recruitment Benchmarking Report provides an in-depth understanding of how the recruitment sector has performed in the previous year.

Following the success of the 2014 Recruitment Benchmarking Report, Top 100 accountancy firm, Raffingers Stuart release their 14-page analysis on the recruitment industry. The report focuses on recruitment agencies in London and the Home Counties, providing a detailed breakdown of the trends prevalent from the previous year.

The recruitment sector had an impressive 2014 with an annual turnover weighing in at £28.7billion, 6.3% higher than its pre-crisis peak. This success was reflected in the Recruitment Benchmarking Report 2014, which saw 91% of agencies declare that they had experienced an increase in turnover in the last 12 months and 91% predict that their turnover would continue to increase in the next 12 months.

The 2015 report is broken down into four sections, which convey the prominent changes in the sector a year on. Results this year show that only 56% of agencies have seen an increase in turnover, which is 30% less from last year. Saying this, over 78% of agencies expressed that they are likely to see growth within the next 12 months, correlating to growth in other regions. The results also provide an account of how agencies fared when it came to cashflow and auto enrolment responsibilities.
