Barry was born into a family of accountants but grew up wanting to be an airline pilot. Having been persuaded that he may be better suited to a more “feet on the ground” profession, he found a passion that he never knew existed, took his exams and qualified at the age of 22.
Barry was a partner at Raffingers by the age of 26 and has now been with us in one form or another for nearly thirty years. Despite still regarding himself as a frustrated pilot, he has grown to love his new life: “I can go on a plane anytime I want but not many pilots will experience the pleasure of walking into a room, facing down a long list of problems and leaving having helped a client to find solutions to all of them.”

Adam has been at Raffingers for over 25 years, initially as a trainee and worked his way to partner in 2003. WHAT THEY SAID:
We talk the talk and walk the walk.

-
Raffingers helped us transform our business. Our previous bankers didn’t seem to understand what we do and the complexities of being a construction sector supplier and were really hampering, and at times endangering, our future growth. However, Gary and his team came to our rescue. Through their knowledge of the funding market, we were introduced to factoring and have never looked back. We are now able to release funds quickly, securing a positive cash flow and helping us put our business in a strong position. We are now going from strength to strength.
Melanie Kingston, Director, Diamond Construction and Engineering -
We wanted to take that next step and additional funding was the only option. After exhausting the banks we turned to Raffingers whose knowledge helped us tremendously. In the end we secured funding through peer-to-peer lending, an option that we had never considered before. Consequently, we have been able to invest in new projects and grow in areas we didn’t think were possible.
Bola Yusuf, Owner, International Tax -
Getting my business off the ground has been a complete rollercoaster for me. However, Raffingers has supported me every step of the way. Not only did they guide me through my business plan, but they curated a range of forecasting scenarios for me, helping me to secure the funding I desperately needed to get my business off the ground.
James Blank, Director, Keylogo -
