How the GDPR Will Affect the Hospitality Sector

GDPR Hospitality Factsheet Updated 2

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will affect almost every organisation and hospitality businesses especially, will have to be alert and review their data processes for the amount of information they store. Hotels, restaurants, pubs and bars will capture a large amount of customers' personal data ranging from their home address to card details. Occasionally such information is subject to risks such as a data breach and hospitality businesses will then have to audit their systems and ensure consumers' details are secured safely. More importantly, establish and record consent for future communications. For more updates on GDPR, tax and legislation issues surrounding the hospitality issues please follow our Twitter page.
