Lauren Aston Wins Marketing Person of the Year Award

Lauren Aston, of Woodford based accountants, Raffingers, was named the 2016 ‘Marketing Person of the Year’ at the 2020 Innovation Awards on Thursday 10 November 2016.

Organised by the 2020 Innovation Group, the 2020 Innovation Awards are intended to “celebrate success and achievements across the accountancy profession with particular emphasis on innovation and creativity”.

Lauren Aston has earned the ‘Marketing Person of the Year’ accolade, which rewards those who have demonstrated their ability to add value, win new clients and improved the firm’s competitive advantage through effective marketing habits. The marketing manager from the London and Essex based accountancy firm, has displayed incredible tenacity and drive to innovate the marketing practices. As a result, Raffingers has seen considerable growth. In 2015, 12% of new client fees came from marketing. Now, as of September 2016, 20% of new client fees derived from marketing campaigns, with the average fee from marketing being £5,000.
